NaNo is right around the corner, and I have planned nothing. :< I have a couple of stories I'm thinking about, but I haven't decided which one I'm going to write. I have plotted nothing at all. ...I think I'm going to have to wing it this year and see how I go.

There have been THINGS going on. So I need to talk about them.

Thing number one: POKEMON MYSTERY DUNGEON FOR THE 3DS, EEEEEEEEE! IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME. I am so happy right now! Finally, a real 3D Pokemon game for the 3DS! It looks so very pretty. :3 But they have only shown five different starter/partner Pokemon. Hopefully there will be more. Even if there are though, I get the feeling that our choices won't be as extensive as they have been in previous games. After all, the starter selection requires you to take a photo of your face and matches you to a Pokemon from that. How many variables could they have possibly have prepared for? I imagine that they could allow for many, but have they bothered to put the effort in? Only time will tell... Anyway, even if there is a smaller selection of starters, I'll still be getting it. I've added it to my list of must-have games:

*Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagates and the Infinite Labyrinth (3DS)
*Bravely Default: Flying Fairy (3DS)
*Harvest Moon: A New Beginning (3DS)
*Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS)
*Pokemon Black/White 2 (DS)

...Though thinking about Pokemon, the Keldeo event is live in Aus; available from selected EB Games and Target stores. I'm kinda annoyed that they made it a store only event, since that means I can't get one. I wish that they would at least run a WiFi event at the same time so that everyone has a chance of getting it...

Thing number two: WiiU! The recent Nintendo Direct presentations announced the launch details. It will be released in Aus on the 30th of November. The "Basic Pack" will cost $349.95, and the "Premium Pack" will cost $429.95. I'll be getting the Premium Pack at some point, not sure when. Though the launch line-up for the console looks great, there's nothing that I really want to play yet. So I'm not sure if I should get it right away or not. On one hand, I don't really want it just yet, and if I hold off they might make a limited edition console available at a later date, and I've always wanted to own one. On the other hand, I can probably get it at a cheaper price on launch day like I did with my 3DS, and christmas is coming up so I might be able to convince my mother to chip in and make it my present. I don't know what to do...

Thing number three: Finished Sailor Moon! Man, it took a while to get through that... But it was well worth it. Even if it's not perfect by any means, I still enjoyed it a lot, and loved the characters. And I'm now ready to hype for and watch the new season scheduled for next year.~

Thing number four: Life. ...I know I've been getting increasingly distant lately. It's just... I've been so focused on the internet that I feel like I don't have a life anymore. I haven't been doing anything that doesn't revolve around a computer, and it's even cut into my gaming and reading, the things that I used to enjoy more than anything else. Lately, that's started to change. I'm beginning to feel more motivated for some reason. I don't know what it is... Maybe the change in seasons? I've started walking in the afternoons, even though I don't have anywhere to go. I've started cooking more, trying out new things. I've been trying to go to bed earlier, and waking up before lunch time. And I'm trying to cut back on my internet time so that I can concentrate on other things. Even though I'm doing all this, and it feels good, there are some thing I miss, like talking to my dear internet friends. I really need to adjust my life so that I can include time for myself and time for others.

So very true to my feelings while I was watching. Haruka and Michiru are awesome and sexy. Haruka is now on my list of fictional girl-crushes.~ <3

...I just had the strangest desire to write a non-fantasy story about a "nice guy" and his obsession with the woman he is in love with. Even though this is distracting me from the story I'm planning for NaNo, I think it's a decent idea, so I'm going to roll with it for a while and see how it turns out.

...I bet I'll get distracted by something else in a week.

Mmmm... Yuri...

Okay, I'll admit it. This sort of stuff is the only reason I developed an interest in Negima:

...I regret nothing.

...Maybe I've been on a bit of a Yuri bender lately. I've read several manga, and have been looking into anime as well... Need to find moar.

...I am easily amused.

A few things...

I have too many games going at once right now. >_< I recently bought Pokemon Conquest, so I've been playing that... I also bought Link's Awakening from the eShop because of the recent sale. A tiny price reduction was all the incentive I needed to pay for it, it seems. XD Additionally, I've also been playing four different Fire Emblem games, and I need to finish off GS as well. I think I should really just stick to one at a time. XD;

It's not just game playing, though. I've been catching up on Doctor Who as well, since I haven't really watched the 11th Doctor's stuff properly yet. I've gotten season 5 and I've been watching it, but I need to get season 6 as well... On the subject of watching things, the Summer anime season is starting, and only a couple of things have really jumped out at me so far. Maybe this means that I'll finally have time to watch some things that have been on my list for a while... That'd be nice.

And I've been listening to a lot of battle themes from Pokemon Black/White 2. It has some really awesome remixes, I love it.~

Yay, internet!~

Well, the internet was only down for a couple of days, thankfully! And, holy shit, this new internet is so much faster! It's awesome!~ Happy Milo is happy.

While the internet was down, I admit I was rather bored. On the plus side though, I got plenty of gaming done! I finished off Kid Icarus Uprising (finally), played some FE7, played some FE6, played some FE10... I played a lot of FE, okay? /addict I should actually get around to finishing FE6 and FE11 before FE13 is released...

In other awesome news, some footage of the English version of the new Harvest Moon game:

...It looks great. I want. D:

It's official. I am an aunt. Charlotte was born this morning, after my sister went into labour sometime before midnight. She was on the phone with mum for a while last night, complaining about the pain, and talked mum into going to the hospital for support. I find it amusing, considering how mum kept saying that she was going to leave the country when my sister gave birth so she wouldn't have to do just that. Of course, I never actually thought that she would miss it, whatever jokes she has made. She might not say it out loud, but I know that she is genuinely excited about having baby around to dote on.

I stayed home last night, but I didn't sleep at all. How could I, knowing that my sister was giving birth to my niece? So I stayed up - watching television to distract me from my fretting - with the phone sitting next to my seat as I waited patiently for news. Mum called me at around 7:30am to tell me that Charlotte had been born just over an hour earlier. She took some photos and showed them to me when she got home. She is a tiny little thing, and very cute. I hope to see her myself very soon.

But right now, I think I really need to rest. My body does not like this whole "skipping a whole night of sleep" thing.

E3 wrap up, E3 wrap up!~

I'm going to say this right off the bat; E3 seems to have been a major disappointment for a lot of people. It was so lackluster that everyone is claiming UBISOFT are the ones who stole the show rather than one of the big three. For me, Nintendo's E3 presentation was definitely not what I expected. I wanted them to wow everyone with a big new reveal. ...But that didn't happen. They merely showcased games that everyone was already aware of.
